Interiorscapes Sales Associate
Oakland Interiorscapes, a division of Oakland Nursery, is looking for an individual passionate about improving the indoor and outdoor work and home environment though the selling indoor plants and containers; exterior containerized planting; and holiday décor.
You would be working with/selling tropical plants, perennial and annual flowers, containers, and our custom holiday décor line. Your typical client would be medical, professional, and corporate offices, restaurants, and high-end residential homes.
We are searching for successful, motivated sales representatives to influence decision makers and "Make the Sale" of our services to new customers.
- Basic plant knowledge or horticulture skills encouraged but not required
- Achieve Base Line Sales Goals (BST) and other objectives
- Meets or exceeds minimum sales activity requirements set by company
- Able to Identify opportunities to add multiple lines of business to our existing client base and prospects
- Makes a positive impact on all prospects, customers and colleagues
- Maintains proficiency in sales knowledge and translates that knowledge into meaningful prospect benefits as appropriate
- Ability to sell company’s full product line offering
- Manage time and territory effectively
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and strong organizational skills
- Clearly identify and qualify sale leads
- Action oriented and self-motivated
- Ability to multi-task on a daily basis
- Prioritize work without direct supervision
- Basic computer knowledge, Microsoft Office
- Perform additional job functions as directed by immediate supervisor
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience within B2B commercial outside sales
- Industry experience selling a service
- Associates Degree or higher
- Clean and Insurable Driving Record
